Following the devastating bushfires on the NSW South Coast, the NSW Government has made available assistance packages to help with clean-up and recovery.
Communities in bushfire-affected areas will have access to fee-free training courses to support clean-up and recovery operations. The training will be delivered by TAFE NSW and other providers, and will equip community members with the skills they need to rebuild and repair vital infrastructure, such as rural fencing, tree felling, asbestos awareness and forklift operations. The courses will also open up employment opportunities for participants.
For more information about the fee-free courses available to bushfire-affected communities, visit the Service NSW website or call 132811.
