The NSW Government, through the EDAEG Program is providing grants up to $40,000 to promote diversity, innovation and service responsiveness in the NSW workforce by subsidising the salary, development and support costs of Aboriginal employees in public service agencies or local government authorities.
An eligible organisation must be NSW public service agency or NSW local government authority operating under the Local Government Act 1993.
Eligible positions that may be funded include:
- Permanent (Ongoing) Employment;
- Temporary (Term Employment) Secondment; and
- School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship
