Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2025-26 Volunteer Grants Program!

I am delighted to invite expressions of interest for the 2025-26 Volunteer Grants Program. Volunteers play such an essential role in our community, and this grant program aims to support the incredibly important work they do. 

The Volunteer Grants program is part of the Australian Government’s commitment to assist volunteers and encourage volunteering. Volunteer Grants support the work of local community organisations by reducing barries for volunteers and increasing participation in volunteering. 

Grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 are offered to community organisations to support the efforts of their volunteers and increase participation in volunteering. 

Grants are used to support the volunteers of organisations and their activities.

Expressions of Interests are open until 27 March 2026.
