Today, Fiona Philips MP congratulated Sussex Inlet & District Surf Life Saving Club on their successful application for a federal $15,000 grant from the 2021 Stronger Communities Program.

The grant will go towards refurbishing and upgrading the interior of the Sussex Inlet Surf Life Saving Club.

“I’m thrilled to have supported the Sussex Inlet Surf Life Saving Club to receive this $15,000 grant,” Fiona said.

“The Sussex Inlet Surf Life Saving Club is a small club, with a big heart and a lot of community pride. This $15,000 federal grant under the Stronger Communities Program will allow the club to continue with the internal upgrades to the clubhouse.” Fiona continued.

“I’m already looking forward to the next surf lifesaving season” Fiona said.
